Note from the Editor: Happy New Year! From all of us at Palomino Training Solutions, we hope that you had a safe and relaxing holiday season! In this newsletter we will look at ways to keep your stress levels down and one of the most vital communication skills. Enjoy the free advice and please don’t forget to send us your interesting stories, requests or comments for our Readers’ Column. Staying De-Stressed It’s the beginning of the year and most of us have been fortunate enough to have had a break and relax. But as soon as you’re back in the office, the phone starts ringing, people start letting you down and you feel that familiar sensation of anxiety and stress rising within you.
There are four pillars that support stress management and if you develop these pillars, your world will be easier and you will be able to deal with stressful situations much more effectively. To find out more about these pillars click here.

One of the most powerful communication skills available, other than our non-verbal skills and the ability to ask questions, is our ability to listen. This is a tool everyone uses to overcome miscommunication problems. However, we surprisingly don’t do it very well. So how can we improve our Active Listening Skills? Click here to find out more.
